WWF In Your House: Buried Alive - The Reliving The War PPV Review
Support Wrestling Bios: Back-up Channel / RTW Highlights: Sweet Merch: X: Step back to October 1996 as WWF presents In Your House: Buried Alive, another show missed during the original Reliving The War run and a show built around one of the most unique and memorable stipulations of the New Generation era. The main event features The Undertaker vs Mankind in the first ever Buried Alive match and, of course, this isn’t a traditional wrestling match — it’s a brawl that spills all over the arena and up to the grave site, ending in one of the most infamous and talked about finishes of 1996. The aftermath of the Buried Alive match would play a major role in shaping The Undertaker’s character moving forward. Elsewhere on the card, Stone Cold Steve Austin faces Hunter Hearst Helmsley, continuing Austin’s rise following his King of the Ring win (though the match was originally scheduled to be Steve Austin vs Savio Vega). Another match that was originally scheduled featured Faarooq getting an Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Marc Mero, however Faarooq gets replaced by Goldust.
