Bohachuk had built up a record of 18-0 (18 KO's) when he faced Brandon Adams in 2021, in a big upset, Adamas defeated Bohachuk by TKO in the 8th round marking the first loss of his professional career. He then rebounded with 6 straight wins, including a unanimous decision victory over former world title challenger Brian Mendoza.
