Heather Monroe vs Leila Grey

Leila and Heather open this 1 Fall match taking each other to the mat, where Leila deftly turns Heather’s Headlock into a Headscissors of her own. Heather flips herself out, whips Leila into the corner, and nails her with a running splash against the turnbuckles. Leila works over Heather in the corner, but misses a charge after sending Heather into the opposite corner. Heather responds with shoulder blocks and an over-the-knee Backbreaker that picks her up a 2 count. The two trade forearm blows on the mat until both are staring up at the ceiling trying to regain their strength. Back to their feet, the two warriors trade forearm blows. Leila gains the edge, and nails Heather with multiple running Clotheslines. A Side Leg Sweep results in a 2 count, and while it didn’t end the match, the near fall has Leila confident enough to proclaim, “I’m the best. I’m the winner.” Heather is none too pleased with that statement, and a chinbreaker and Stunner shuts Leila’s mouth as Heather picks up a 2 count of her own. A frantic finish featuring a half-dozen reversals and near falls finally results in one grappler managing to keep her opponent’s shoulders for the 3 count and a hard-earned victory.
