In this video I'm going to show you how counter strafing in Counter-Strike 2 works and how you can quickly learn to counter strafe like the pros in CS2. Counter strafing in CS is essentially just cancelling your moment by swiftly tapping the opposite movement key (e.g. when moving left you tap D, when moving forward you tap S etc.). This is neccessary since unlike in Valorant you will keep sliding after letting go of all movement inputs, meaning you'll remain inaccurate until you have slowed down sufficently, which takes quite a while when you aren't counter strafing.
