For boxing beginners the drills that I describe in this video are gold. Great boxing is not about doing extraordinary things, it's about doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. If you can master these basic boxing footwork drills then your boxing journey will be built upon the right foundations. The boxing drills are 3 rounds of 2 minutes each round: Round 1 Jab - side step - back hand Round 2 One-two - side step - one two Round 3 Jab - side step - back hand body Take your time with these boxing drills. Each boxing skill must be executed well. Any errors in one skill will carry forward into the next skill, so be disciplined. This seems simple, but it's important that you really focus.
