Little Jeanne vs Rain

Rain tries to compensate for a large size/strength disadvantage with sheer technical savvy in this match against powerhouse veteran Little Jeanne. And while she does get brutally pounded into the mat on a frequent basis (as expected from Jeanne’s track record) she does manage to counter a pretty effective defense. It’s all referee Jennifer Blake can do to keep up with the action. Jeanne squeezes and stretches Rain with several inventive submissions, including a Camel Clutch, a chokehold and a rib-crushing Waistscissors. Rain switches gear with some success, limiting Jeanne’s ability to breathe (rather important for winning matches!) with a long Sleeperhold and a choke using Jeanne’s own arms! Needless to say, Jeanne doesn’t react too well to this once she gets to the ropes–lashing out and tossing Rain from pillar to post. She then focuses on her leg in all kinds of horrific ways, wrenching it over the ropes and tying her up in leglocks. Both wrestlers are spent and exhausted by the time the match is in its final minutes, prompting one lady to take a shortcut by pinning her opponent while using the ropes for leverage-A hollow victory given that both athletes will be feeling the effects of this fight for days to come!
