The 2026 May Grand Sumo Tournament is all wrapped up in Tokyo, Japan. Komusubi Wakatakakage captured his second career championship, beating ozeki Kirishima in their playoff match in a tournament filled with injuries to big names, including Hoshoryu, Onosato and Aonishiki. Plus, I went to Japan and watch Days 11 and 15 of the Natsu basho live from the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
