In today's video, I react to the latest video from Lyte where he discusses Flats' comments about the state of Marvel Rivals balance and the idea that the developers are doing the best they can despite many players feeling like the game's balance is in a terrible spot. That discussion sent me down a rabbit hole and led to one major realization: there is literally no way to make everyone happy. Pro players want one thing. Casual players want another. Tank players want buffs. DPS players want nerfs. Support players think they're getting blamed for everything. Every community segment has a different vision for what Marvel Rivals should be, and every patch seems to create a brand-new civil war. In this video I completely crash out about the impossible position the developers are in, why balance discussions have become so toxic, and how almost everyone secretly wants their favorite role, character, or playstyle to be stronger than everything else.
