In 1996, a Swiss musician named Mr. Graf fulfilled his lifelong dream by buying this estate and moving here with his family. But he didn’t just want to live in a castle, he wanted to build something unique. His plan was to create a park with horses, offer carriage rides, and open a museum dedicated to historic carriages. Traces of that vision are still visible today. Carriages remain stored in the barns, and parts of the estate feel frozen mid-project. But restoring a castle like this comes at a cost. Over time, the scale became too much, and the dream slowly slipped away.
