Young Roger Gracie look alike back in action with the straight ankle lock/achilles lock finish. Bjj

Wrestling

The young Roger Gracie doppelganger is back again. This time taking on a much more physical opponent. His opponent seems to be more classically trained than young Roger. The big man uses heavy collar ties and snap down attempts to force the guard pull. From here the smaller guy really begins to shine. He smoothly threatens a false reap type entry but his larger opponent isn't having that, countering with classic smashing pressure from side control and knee on belly (KOB). In the KOB the smaller guy on bottom kept looking for a chance to invert. The top guy seemed to get a little concerned and was cautious Note: KOB is best used for mobility, submission entries, and pin maintenance in no gi grappling, rather than the punishing pin of traditional gi jiujitsu . No gi KOB is more unstable and offers chances for your opponent to get entries to leg locks. The final exchange begins with Roger locking up a shoulder crunch from butterfly half, he squares to full butterfly and attempts to sweep. He uses this off balance to enter irimi ashi garami. From there he sets the Achilles lock and his opponent quickly surrenders. It does not look like he was applying finishing pressure yet. His opponent seemed not to be sure of the leg game and tapped to avoid the unknown and potential injury. He taps without ego and quickly, this guy is a good example. Earlier in the day several people allowed their knees to be damaged. It could potentally be months before they can walk right again, a knee is never the same after a serious injury. However, this guy could be back out there training the next day.
