This Beach Pin Wrestling match brings standing exchanges, scrambles and pin attempts into one raw beach combat sports format. No mats. Just sand, pressure, control and pins. In this Sand Scrambles match, Rens and Bart start standing and battle for control on the beach. The goal is not to score with takedowns or submissions, but to create enough pressure to pin the opponent’s shoulders to the sand. The sand changes every position. Footwork becomes harder, scrambles become heavier, and every attempt to control the match has to be earned on neutral ground. Rules: Fighters start standing. A point is scored when one fighter pins the opponent with both shoulder blades on the sand for 3 consecutive seconds. After a successful pin, the match resets standing. If a pin is broken after 1 or 2 seconds, no point is scored and the ground exchange continues. Submissions are not allowed. If a fighter attempts a submission, the match is reset in referee position as a penalty. The winner is decided by control, pressure and scoring pins on the sand. What is Sand Scrambles?
