White does a fair job of connecting to the lower body with grapevines, but doesn't do much to pin the head or put pressure on the upper body opting instead to place hands on the mat an use more of a floating style. He goes for a mounted triangle but misses and losses the position. With that much time left on the clock it would have been prudent to wear on his opponent for a bit longer before hunting that sub. But the point is moot, even though he lost the positon he is to quickly get back to the triangle position and his opponent submits without a struggle.
