A Day in the Life - Kaito | Namsaknoi Muay Thai

18-year-old Kaito has been living in Thailand for the past 2 years to pursue his fight dreams. Kaito’s life here cannot be more different from most boys his age. For one, there is no shopping malls, cinemas, or MacD’s on the island. Kaito’s day revolves 100% around training and the gym. As a signed fighter, it is his responsibility to train full time. Everyday, he runs 7-10 km before every training, 6 days a week. When there’s a fight coming up, he runs on Sundays too. This is the level of dedication you need if you want to become a top fighter. On top of that, Kaito also helps out with errands around the gym. We are a family and this is his home. Kaito started training with me around 6 months ago. I give him a hard time every day, pushing him physically and mentally to his limits. I do it only because I care about his growth. In return, Kaito gives me 100% of his effort at every training without question. This is how it works in Thailand. If your trainer is giving you a hard time, be thankful and push yourself more. Because if you give up on yourself, then there is no reason for your trainer to believe in you.
