Josie vs Malia Hosaka

A handshake starts this one off but it isn’t long before Jose’s hand is bent behind her back. But the favor is soon returned only for a couple of back elbows to break it up, but at least they were clean. But just because offense is clean doesn’t mean it won’t hurt as Josie finds out with a deathlock/Surfboard combo morphing into a standing Surfboard. A Curbstomp is narrowly avoided by a clever counter but Malia has just about seen it all and reverses back. Josie again has an answer and gives Malia a taste of her earlier deathlock Surfboard medicine but in a unique way that even she may not have seen before! Josie’s got more tricks in her quiver namely a Bow & Arrow and only ring awareness by Malia saves her. The close call clearly touched a nerve as Hosaka’s vicious side make its first appearance catching Josie off guard. Ring awareness comes into play once again as a signature submission is locked in miles from the ropes and the only thing likely to break is a leg!
