October is going to be a massive month for ARC Raiders, and Embark really needs this update to HIT. There are so many huge games competing for players’ attention — Wardogs, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Gears of War, and of course GTA 6 looming as possibly the biggest game release ever. ARC Raiders can’t afford another update that feels light on content or leaves players waiting months for what’s next. I still want this game to succeed, and I hope Embark proves me completely wrong, but right now I definitely have some concerns. We’re going to yap about the update, what Embark needs to deliver, the competition coming for ARC Raiders, and why October could be one of the most important moments for the game yet.
