We are taking a look at the Light Heavyweight clash involving Artur Beterbiev from Canada and Russia and Callum Johnson a British boxer. Beterbiev was defending his IBF World Light Heavyweight title against the challenger Johnson. The fight was scheduled in Chicago, USA. That was a brutal knockout endured by Callum Johnson; it came after Johnson applied pressure and was even able to knock Beterbiev down. The Soviet school of boxing from which he was produced, gave him a similar technique to boxers such as Usyk, Kovalev, and Bivol. However, the style of fighting they use, as opposed to technique, is where they most differ. Usyk and Bivol are more footwork-oriented, where Usyk focuses on angles and surprising opponents and Bivol more on power. Kovalev uses less footwork but likes to establish his Jab and throw power punches off it. Beterbiev prefers to pressure his opponents and land hard debilitating punches to destroy his opponents.
