We examine the wrestling influences behind Alex’s redesign, from his original roots in Hulk Hogan to the similarities between his new persona and legendary heels such as Hollywood Hogan and Edge. Even details such as his face paint and crowd interactions reveal just how heavily Capcom leaned into wrestling culture when reinventing the character. Alex’s gameplay is equally rooted in Pro Wrestling.
