cinnamon roll Measure in grams for accuracy Yeast mixture 3/4 cup water or milk 175ml 25g powdered milk (¼ cup) skip if using liquid milk. 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast 1 teaspoon sugar Other ingredients for the dough 40g sugar (3 tablespoons) 1 medium egg 450g Bread flour (about 4 cups) 60g Melted Butter (4 tablespoons) 5g Salt 3/4 teaspoon Filling 100g brown sugar (½ cup) 56g Butter (¼ cup) 15g cinnamon (2 tablespoons) Cream cheese filling 110g cream cheese (4oz) 60g Powdered sugar (½ cup) 4 tablespoons whipping cream Directions: Combine very slightly warm water/milk and sugar and yeast. Let it sit until frothy. (Water should be (95-110°f) Add yeast mixture, melted butter, egg, flour and salt in a large bowl.. Stir to form dough. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes, then cover and allow to rest for 20-30 minutes. For the filling: Mix brown sugar, slightly melted butter, and cinnamon. Roll out the dough, spread the filling, and roll it up. Cut into individual rolls (use dental floss or thread for more a cleaner cut). Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 30-45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly golden brown. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and whipping cream for the cream cheese filling. Spoon the cream cheese filling over the rolls. Let them cool slightly before serving. #food
