This is when CM Punk held the WWE Title for 434 days. At Survivor Series 2011, Punk beat Alberto Del Rio to win the title. They had a rematch a week later on Raw. The ref was distracted and Punk threw Alberto onto the exposed turnbuckle to retain the title. Three weeks later at TLC, Punk, The Miz and Alberto met in a TLC match. Punk pushed Alberto off the ladder and hit Miz with the GTS to retain the title. A month later on Raw, Punk faced Dolph Ziggler. Punk tapped out Dolph but the ref was distracted with John Laurinaitis. Dolph knocked down John by mistake, Punk went for the GTS, Dolph countered him, he got launched out of the ring and got counted out. They had a rematch three weeks later at Royal Rumble with John as the special enforcer. Punk hit Dolph with the GTS to retain the title. A month later, Punk retained inside the Elimination Chamber. A month and half later at WrestleMania 28, Punk faced Chris Jericho. Punk can lose the title via DQ but Punk tapped out Jericho to retain it. Next day on Raw, Punk faced Mark Henry. Henry threw Punk out of the ring and he got counted out. They had a rematch next week, where Punk hit Henry with the monitor, ending in a DQ. They had another rematch a week later in a no DQ match. Punk used a chair to hit Henry with an elbow drop and retain the title. Two weeks later at Extreme Rules, Punk faced Jericho in a street fight. Punk threw Jericho into the exposed turnbuckle and hit him with the GTS to retain the title. A month later at Over the Limit, Punk faced Daniel Bryan. Bryan caught Punk with the crossface, who then countered him, pinned him to retain the title and immediately tapped out. Two weeks later on Smackdown, Punk faced Kane, where Bryan dropkicked both of them, ending in a no contest. Two weeks later at No Way Out, Punk, Bryan and Kane met for the title. AJ Lee got launched outside by mistake and Punk hit Kane with the GTS to retain the title. A month later at Money in the Bank, Punk faced Bryan in a no DQ match with AJ as the ref. Punk put Bryan through a table
