Dargan is a single mother of Aboriginal Australian heritage, belonging to the Wiradjuri and Mununjali tribes, with Irish ancestry on her maternal side. Before boxing, she pursued a career in music, appearing on The X Factor Australia 2014 and even performing for John Legend in New York. She began boxing in 2019, shortly after giving birth to her son, using the sport as a path to healing and self-recovery. Turning professional in 2022, Dargan quickly captured the Australian Super Bantamweight title, before claiming the WBC Asia Super Bantamweight belt in 2025 with a first-round knockout over Thailand’s Kanokwan Wirunpat.
