First OFFICIAL Hearthstone Recording - I am learning D:
Hey guys! So I will have uploaded another video by the time this one goes up. This video is me going through another rank game and (I win!) I try to explain the logic/reasoning behind which cards I play starting from the starting hand. I hope that it makes sense and that you learn a thing or two. The hearthstone redditt is also a great place to learn stuff! Since I'm relatively new (less than 3 months) into the game, here's what I did to get better without spending massive amounts of energy to do so. 1. Look at pro decks and just use them. (http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/11650101/innkeeper%E2%80%99s-invitational-decklists-11-15-2013) Artosis won the whole tournament so I would definitely look at his decks. Now there have been patches so it can be outdated, but I think it's a great place to start. There is a video on Youtube of him facing Kripparean (I think that's how you spell it) and you can see very clearly what the deck is trying to accomplish. The commentators are also very informative. 2. It helps to know what cards there are in the game, mainly the ones specific to which hero. You don't have to be know them 100% but it helps to know their cost (so you can guess in game which one it is), but don't worry. Baiting out secrets are tough sometimes but it's incredibly helpful. 3. I cover board control in this video and that's what my paladin deck (I also have a priest deck with similar ideas; in another video maybe I'll try). There was also this one redditt post for beginners and I found that to be very helpful. I already knew most of it because I have extensive background in card games (Pokemon, Yugioh, Magic) and the strategy behind them. All in all, the goal at all times is to maximize your deck efficiency. Anyway, that's a long post and I will definitely be posting more videos soon! I also play League of Legends and I might consider going into that as well. Let me know what you guys think!
