Gridiron Gang Starring Dwayne Johnson & Jade Yorker Emotional scene. Forgive em' and move on. Coach Porter, was a former football player who could never win his father’s approval and whose loving mother has just passed away. Willie Weathers who is at a breaking point has lost everything and everyone he knows.. His mom and little brother, his girlfriend, and now his gang after saving his teammate Calvin from death. A member of his rival gang. The boys struggle with the discipline and Coach Porter struggles even more to not become his hyper-critical father. A tearful scene in which Porter lectures Willie about being a winner and the power of forgiveness, the coach finally finds forgiveness in his own heart for his own father after a tearful Willie asks (“How long did it take you to forgive your dad?”)
