Arman Tsarukyan was touted to be the biggest threat to islam Makhachev’s title reign but he unfortunately missed out on his opportunity. Arman Nairovich Tsarukyan is an Armenian professional mixed martial artist. Tsarukyan currently competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As of April 16, 2024, Arman is #1 in the UFC lightweight rankings. Just a day out from his scheduled main event at UFC 311 against Islam Makhachev, Arman Tsarukyan shockingly withdrew from the fight due to a back injury.
