K1/Muay Thai highlight of "The Giant Killer" Kaoklai Kaennorsing (考克莱 ก้าวไกล แก่นนรสิงห์) Kaoklai Kaennorsing is a retired K1/Muay Thai fighter who learnt his trade at Jocky Gym in Bangkok. This is a well-known gym in Thailand since several Thai superstars have, at one point or another, learnt their trade there including Saenchai, Somrak, Silapathai, Wanwiset, Lerdsila, Robert and Rolek. Having won Rajadamnern titles in two different weight classes, Kaoklai shot to mainstream suoerstardom in 2004 when he made his K-1 debut in Seoul, becoming the lightest (78kg) and youngest (21 yrs) fighter ever to win a K-1 Openweight tournament. Kaoklai made a habit of fighting opponents much heavier than himself, and became known as "The Giant Killer". One such contest came against Hong-Man Choi who stood 7'2 (219 cm) and weighed in at 160 kg (353 lbs).
