Love those raunchy comedies, if you look at my profile you will see i reviewed a lot of them. This one definately fit the bills and has an overall interesting story, but i feel its being dragged down by VERY STUPID over the top side characters that didn't had to be there. If you take a look at movies like American Pie, sure Stifler is over the top a bit but never to a point of being unbeliable. The main characters here are all fine, but for some reasons they threw in weird characters like Captain Jack or that dude with the eye patch that they rent the boat from. I watched this movie while being quite advanced into my drunk state (it was my second movie of the day after a gaming pause in the middle) so i managed to have a decent time and roll with it, but i can see how some peoples will not find it funny or just too dumb. You really have to dig the raunchy comedies in the first place to apreciate it, then get drunk to have a better time ;)

It takes the right kind of person to appreciate this film, I sure did. I unfortunately had to move away from havasu but this film is a great way to get away from boring Omaha, NE. Anyway being a havasu native, I appreciate the humor take on what the spring breakers are expecting coming to havasu. Now for the most part havasu natives are not as crazy as the ones in the film but that stupid humor is what makes this film. Like I said before you have to be open minded and if you are then this is definitely worth the watch!

Maannn!! Such a crazy good movie!! Beyond hilarious! Loved it!! Sat down with my roommate after he told me about the movie. Said he had the chance to meet the director and all!! But long review short, I made up my decision for where I want to take my trip next year! Definitely going to Havasu! Especially with the kove of outdoors and being around people and a huge lake to party on!! If the director gets another opportunity to make another movie like this, I would love to be part of the cast! #HellYea

Don't know anyone who wouldn't think this movie was fun to watch unlike other reviews. We watched it with group of friends and loved it. Really liked the music and the story line. If you want to enjoy a fun night with your friends, buy it and watch it over and over! I recommend it highly. Such fun!

Upfront real quick, 1st review here ever, related account to comment on this movie cause no one else had. If your some one who likes movies like American pie, 10 things I hate about you, and all that falls in between then you will enjoy (possibly even love) this movie. While not a major studio release this film completely tapped into the essence and fun of its genre and was fun from start to finish. Everyone who was in this film was IMO on point. I know no ones winning an Oscar here but I also could tell that they all loved the story and had a blast makin this movie. Everyone who made this film, thumbs up to you all. Anyone considering watching this, if you made it this far, do your self a favor.... sit back relax and enjoy. It's funny, got some feels, and just a good time.

Not by the barrage of swearing, not by the brazen nudity, but by the fact that they have the gall to call this a comedy. Leniency is often offered to low budget films because not everyone can use their creative restrictions to their advantage to craft something like Jaws or Alien. But in the case of Highway to Havasu, I bequeath none. For lo, it is not strangled by its limitations, but rather, quite the opposite. The budgetary restraints have not resulted in a compromised product, but rather, an undignified charter of the laziest filmmaking possible. The non-existent script of which, must have been devised as a "comedy" precisely because directionless, illiterate, director/writer Jeff Janke was called "funny" and a "class clown" in secondary school. Behold, this effrontery feature that dares to call itself a film, has been brought upon us simply because some kid once told Jeff Janke that "he's so funny, he should make a movie." I have no words for such an attack on my culture. My movie culture. This must be terrorism! And if so, to ISIL, I yield. Tis really is, a bad movie.
