Beautiful, inspiring take on life, perseverance and love. Shining performances by Stuart Townsend and Mena Suvari. Highly recommend this transcendent love story for the ages!! Masterful directing from Sebastian Siegel creates the wonder of this world. Great film to spend an evening with!!

I've read the book Grace and Grit few years ago and it is based on a true story. I couldn't have imagined this beautiful love story told any other way. Sebastian Siegel writer and director, takes you on this incredible transcendent journey where not lot of filmmakers dare to go. It's a powerful and compelling story with beautiful storytelling all around. It left me feeling so many different emotions at the same time. I absolutely recommend this film.

Good movie with a sad ending. Can't help but to think that Treya came in Ken's life as a bodhisattva (beings working for the benefit of others till all attain Buddhahood) which Ken achieves during the movie. Pain (mud) and enlightenment (lotus flower). People criticize the movie as sappy. It is multi level. Do not miss watching it...
